Engaged for Ocean is a planet-first movement that unites companies and schools around a common mission: to take concrete action to preserve the oceans.
By setting up the "Schools Force", we encourage every school to participate in the fund and develop innovative projects that combine education, awareness-raising and environmental action.
This scheme aims to create an innovative financing model and a genuine ideas laboratory where each participant can experiment and share initiatives for a better world.
The 4 Steps of Schools Force
1 - Membership and annual contribution
Each establishment determines its capacity and commits to an annual contribution of between €500 and €5000.
This funding, adapted to the size and resources of each school, is the first step towards a collective commitment to the environment.
2 - Creating the Schools Task
As soon as students join, a dedicated group is formed within the school. Made up of students, teachers and community members, this collective comes together to imagine, plan and execute innovative projects to protect the ocean.
3 - Project funding and support :
The funds raised are centralized and redistributed in the form of grants. A committee of experts, made up of environmental and educational professionals, evaluates the proposed projects to guarantee their real impact and viability.
The "Engaged For Ocean" label is a way to give concrete expression to these commitments by recognizing the efforts made by students, professors and school administrators.
Not an award, but a recognition and the creation of a strong and committed community. The label addressed to higher education institutions creates an environment in which students who share common values will find themselves.
We believe that this growing community of a generation with strong, committed values is an essential and indispensable element in the transformation of our society. It is therefore thanks to this recognition that we wish to support and amplify a large-scale movement that is just beginning to emerge.

The "Engaged For Ocean" label is not only a symbol, it is also, and above all, a support for oceanographic exploration and research. A labelled school is kept informed of the projects supported, the projects in progress and the problems encountered.
More than a symbol, it is also an invitation to go beyond the framework and to invest oneself personally, as a group, in these projects for which the fields studied will provide concrete answers.
This community spirit, this maritime tradition, is the solidarity of seafarers, which we transpose here to the protection and study of the Ocean.
