Labelling process

A simplified, self-declaring process that allows a reasonable lead time.

For candidates eligible for the Engaged for Ocean label, the average lead time is 15 days, with variations depending on the case and the complexity of the application. Nevertheless, particular care is taken to ensure that each application is subjected to an in-depth study that guarantees the high standards of quality and rigor required for the award of the label.

STEP 1

DISCOVERY

Discover the label, either through a meeting with an Ambassador for the Ocean or spontaneously. Learn about the award criteria, objectives and benefits of the label. Website, application, media articles, etc.

STEP 3

FILE REVIEW

The application is examined by the Label Award Committee, which assesses the completeness, consistency and veracity of the commitments declared against the supporting documents provided.

STEP 5

LABELLING

The label holder is rewarded for its commitments and referenced in the media. elements of the label (digital and physical)

STEP 7

RENEWAL

On each anniversary date, the label holder must confirm his or her commitments and pay the financial contribution for the Ocean. This renewal is an opportunity to declare any additional commitments made during the year, and to discover the label's additional criteria.

STEP 2

CANDIDATE

Using the self-assessment form and declaration form, with all declared commitments accompanied by detailed supporting documents. 

STEP 4

VALIDATION

Drafting and dispatch of the labeling contract and calculation of the financial participation. As soon as we receive the documents and funds, we send you the labeling elements.

STEP 6

REPORT ENGAGED

In May of the following year, the label holder (Ocean Member and Engaged Member) will receive an Engaged report report, officially acknowledging the results of the projects carried out thanks to their financial participation.
